When coordinating clothing for your family session, it is best to avoid trying to match.  Coordinating colors are much more flattering.  Creams, soft pastels, oatmeal, light browns, tans, grays and blues are great choices.  Generally, solid colors are better than prints.  However in a group it is fine to add prints that coordinate in combination with solids.  Busy prints can be distracting.

Feel free to bring options if you are unsure.  We are always available to discuss wardrobe prior to the session.  Ultimately, it is your photo, and as long as you like it, that is all that matters.

If you have young children, it is best to schedule the session when they will be awake and in a good mood.  Also, be sure they are fed before the session.  Feel free to bring snacks and drinks.

Remember, it is okay to be silly, play, laugh and let go.  Make your session a fun family event!
