Please contact us during your pregnancy to receive priority scheduling. We have a very simple process as we will schedule your due date to our calendar and then you let us know as soon as baby arrives and then again when you get hone and are ready to pick a date for the session. We typically schedule newborns within the first 14 days (5-10 are ideal).     During this time they are still sleepy enough to allow us to move and position them without a fuss. Keep in mind that after the first week or two of life, they discover the joy of stretching and it is more difficult to get them into those cute curly poses. However, there are plenty of other posing options available. If your newborn baby boy has had a circumcision, it is preferable to wait at least 5 days after the procedure to schedule so he can be comfortable during the session. Another thing to note is that our studio is upstairs. There is a handrail but we like to mention it especially to anyone who may have had a c-section.

A well fed baby is a happy baby! We recommend you feed and burp your baby right before the session. Please bring pacifiers or anything else baby might use to help sooth him/her. On the rare occasion that baby is extremely fussy or unsettled, we will do our best to reschedule the session at no additional cost to you.

We have everything you need for your session (wraps, props, headbands, etc.).  We plan our sessions in advance. Let us know if there are any particular colors, poses, themes and/or props you would like us to incorporate, or if you have a special prop, outfit, etc. you would like to bring to include.

If you choose to have photos taken with mom, dad and/or siblings, note that we typically take these first.  There is no need to stress much over outfits since most are taken really close and waist up.  We are always available to discuss wardrobe color and selection.

Your baby’s safety comes first! If there is ever a point where you become uncomfortable with any pose or absolutely anything, please let us know. We take every measure to ensure safety.  For that reason, we work as a team, always having one to lend support, while the other captures the moment.
